Graphic design is a form of visual communication. It uses text, shapes, images, colors, and layout to pass a message clearly and attractively. The goal of graphic design is not just to make things look good it is to make them understood.

Note: Not all graphic designs need to use all 5 Elements (text, shape, image, color, layout). A design can be effective using just one or two. What matters most is clear visual communication.
